Start a House Church
No building. No budget. No seminary degree. Just 2-3 people, a home, and a love for our Lord Jesus — that’s how the Church began, and that’s how it grows.
“Where two or three gather in My name, there am I among them.”
The early church didn’t begin in cathedrals or church buildings. It began in homes — with a few ordinary believers committed to one another and to Christ. In Jesus’ Name Ministries follows that same pattern.
A house church is simply a small group of people — family, friends, neighbors, who gather regularly to study Scripture, worship, pray, and care for one another. You don’t need to be a pastor. You don’t need a special building. You just need a heart for Jesus and a few people to walk with.
If you have 2-3 people and a living room, you have everything you need to begin.
- ✓ A few believers meeting in a home
- ✓ Studying the Word together
- ✓ Worshiping and praying as one
- ✓ Caring for each other’s needs
- ✓ Small, personal, and real
Six Simple Steps to Start
You don’t have to figure this out alone. Here’s the path — and we walk it with you.
1
Gather a Few
Invite two or three others who love Jesus — family, friends, or neighbors. That’s your seed.
2
Pick a Time & a Home
Choose a regular day and a living room, kitchen table, or porch to meet. Consistency matters more than size.
3
Reach Out to IJNM for a Minister
You can begin gathering right away — you don’t need a trained Minister on day one. Every established House Church eventually has a Minister the ministry has trained and set apart, so as your group takes root, contact IJNM and we’ll help identify, train, and set apart a leader from within your community.
4
Open the Word
Begin with Scripture, prayer, and worship together. Keep Jesus at the center; everything else follows.
5
Connect With IJNM
Reach out to In Jesus’ Name Ministries. We’ll support you, provide resources, and connect you to the wider family.
6
Grow & Multiply
As your group grows, raise up new leaders, and help them start the next house church. One becomes many.
How IJNM Walks With You

From One Home to a Movement
One house church becomes two. Two become ten. Across Lugoff, across Kershaw County, across South Carolina — a network of small, faithful gatherings, each one loving Jesus and worshiping Him together. That’s the dream, and it begins with you saying yes.
